Poppy Seed Dressing
Delicious dressing to be served over a tossed green salad.

1/2 tsp dry mustard
1 tsp salt
1/2 c sugar
1 Tbs poppy seeds
1/2 c white vinegar
1 scant cup oil (vegetable or olive, to taste)
fresh mushrooms
bermuda onion

Wash and thinly slice mushrooms vertically. Halve onion vertically and slice thinly (to make onion crecents). Combine mustard, salt, and sugar in mixing bowl; mix well. Add vinegar, and poppy seeds; mix well. Add oil, mushrooms, and onions, and stir. Chill. For best results, let stand overnight and serve chilled.
